What they should've told you at the polls;
Your vote doesn't really count unless you live in a swing state.
Four years is a long time and people have short memories.
People can forgive a heck of a lot.
That while you expect that your fellow man is smart, good and kind, you must remember that your fellow man is just like you.
That no matter who is president there will still be beautiful things to look at (though they may be harder to find under this president). Babies to laugh with. Funerals to go to. Arguments to have. Beers to drink.
You don't have to keep looking over your back - P. Diddy won't really kill you.
Freedom of speech, the right to privacy and the right to pursue happiness are all overrated...
